Audio/Video Business Veterans The audio/video industry has grown so much that it has attracted many carriers and brokers to the business. Newcomers may not understand the finite nuances of the business and what it takes to keep street date production schedules.
Flynn Transportation Services, Inc. has been providing logistical services for this industry since albums were vinyl and the next big buzz was the laser disc. In more than twenty years, we have been through all types of business cycles, transportation crises and threats, highway detours and threats to national security. We have a respected reputation in the trade and know how to provide consistent, time-sensitive pickup, scheduling, and delivery.
It takes a tremendous investment in modern technology to meet street dates for the audio/video business. And Flynn has made those investments, in hardware, software, training and capacity. But even that is only a small part of the picture, when it comes to effective, time-sensitive delivery.
No matter how sophisticated the technology, the real test comes down to dedicated transportation professionals who know the business and have a commitment to Flynn and its customers. That's what's made the difference in Flynn for the many years that we have served the shipping public from our North Carolina headquarters.
The skill and talent also goes beyond our capacity to ship. We work directly with the people who manufacture the product. Schedules are produced in advance. As days go by, we make sure the product is actually ready to ship when and as expected. The same people in our firm work the full supply chain, from start to finish. This eliminates communication errors and misunderstandings.
The same people choose the proper carrier mode and make arrangements for pick-up and delivery. There is no mid-stream hand-off. The same people you work with at the beginning are responsible, all the way to the end. These are the same people you can depend on for constant updating of delivery information, status of shipping and confirmation of delivery.
"We do things differently here," explained CEO Chip Flynn. "It's a system born through years of working in this industry. The result is an easy, hassle-free flow that is truly appreciated by our customers."
